Witham Farmers’ Market held in the Grove Shopping Centre every second and fourth Tuesday throughout the year. Witham was the first Farmers’ Market to set up in Essex and the first to receive accreditation from the Association of Farmers’ Markets.

Our first market was held in September 1999 staring off with one per month held every second Tuesday in the month. Very soon due to the popularity of the market we introduced a second monthly market on the fourth Tuesday in the month.

Still held every second and fourth Tuesday Witham Farmers Market has a committed group of stall holders who provide excellent produce for both our regular loyal customers and new shoppers and we are all delighted that Witham Farmers’ Market is still thriving and will celebrate it’s eight birthday later this year.

Witham Farmers’ Market has remained loyal to the Farmers’ Market ethos - fresh produce and goods direct from the producer and has not been allowed to drift into just becoming another general market that trades as a farmers’ market.

The market has featured regularly in the national press and national television over the years and look forward to the next 8 years.

Witham Farmers' Market is held within the Grove Shopping Centre on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month between 9.30 am - 2.00 pm

The market offers a wide range of seasonal fruit and vegetables plus fresh pork, beef, lamb, venison, goat dairy products, honey, chutney and preserves, home made cakes and biscuits, flowers, plants and shrubs. Organic meat and vegetables.

The Grove Shopping Centre organises a busy promotional programme throughout the year with professional entertainment, events and competitions as well as community and charitable days, so there is always something happening around the malls throughout the year.
